Oncologic Surgery

Your oncologist may decide that surgery may be a vital part to fighting your cancer.  Our Board-certified surgeons will work with you and your cancer care team to make informed decisions and find the best treatment options.

Sometimes surgery may be all that is needed to treat your cancer or it can be part of your overall care plan. We understand that this is a difficult time, and we are here to answer questions and prepare you before and after surgery. We rely on state-of-the-art equipment and, when able, utilize advanced minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques to minimize pain, incisions, scarring, surgery time, hospital stays and recovery time.

Often we form a relationship with our patients as they progress from diagnosis to treatment.  We want you to be as comfortable as possible with any cancer surgery you may face.  Your surgery goal may be to:

• help identify and biopsy cells or tissues suspected of cancer,
