How Skin Cancer Develops

Skin Cancer is one of the most common types of cancer and highly curable when detected early. Most Skin Cancer is classified as nonmelanoma, meaning it arises from cells in the skin that are not the pigment producing cells called Melanocytes. Nonmelanoma cancers are not likely to spread and are usually easily removed.
